(Names are changed to protect us):
Dear Michael:
The site looks amazing - how are just two of you doing this? But I cannot become a member. Who are you? What are you doing with this information? How do I know that you're not just collecting our names and will sell it on the black market in a foreign country and I will then be riddled with Spam?? Worse, lets say I post something and then you decide you don't like me, so you take what I posted, look up my information, and then email it to all my friends and family??? I just can't take that risk. I'll stop by to look, but you'll just have to do without my becoming a member.

Dear Anonymous
I appreciate your honesty and for hitting on the true theme for the site - Anonymity. While we don't mind putting our true faces on the website, that is to ensure you that we are truly serious about what we are doing. You, on the other hand, can decide how much and what you want to reveal not just to the other members, but to us as well.
The only authentic thing that you need is an email address and that is only so that we have a contact source to provide information and updates to our members. We are aware that members have signed up using fictitious names and locations, but this is to make them more comfortable about sharing the stories, thoughts and ideas that they do want to share without fear of professional repurcussions.
If we were to randomly share that information, we would have to quickly close the website down. It is only that trust and faith that you, the poster, have that we, LawisFun.com, are going to protect your anonymity that allows it to become the website that it can be.
Unless you start committing illegal acts, such as soliciting inappropriate materials regarding minors. We will then be cooperating with legal authorities without question.
So stay above the law and you'll be fine!
Michael
